Listservs
Undergraduate Listserv
The Student Services Undergraduate Listserv is now available to undergraduate, post-baccalaureate and interested individuals who would like information on SBA programs and enrollment procedures. Students can subscribe to the SBA listserv to access general information and notices regarding internships, PSU and SBA updates, and advising services. There is no charge for this service. The SBA encourages all pre-business and admitted business student to subscribe.
To subscribe, send an email to info@sba.pdx.edu saying you would like to be added to the Undergraduate Listserv.
Career Services Undergraduate Listserv
Students who have more than 90 credits and are a declared business major may sign up for the Career Services Undergraduate Listserv, sign up via the web at: http://www.sba.pdx.edu/undergradlist.asp.
Information about internships, business-related job announcements, and Career Services events will be sent to all who subscribe.
Graduate Listserv
The graduate listserv is a convenient email service that delivers notices about employment and internship opportunities, events, other career news, as well as information about course changes. Subscription to the listserv is a feature of the Faculty/Student Information System (FIS/SIS).
What is the the FIS/SIS?
It is a secure, centralized database for both faculty and students. Faculty use the FIS to create course rosters and directories and to gain an understanding of student's professional and academic backgrounds and career goals.
Students can utilize the student pages to keep track of career-related information you gather and contacts you make throughout the MBA program.
On-line resume feature:
Students are encouraged to put their resumes on-line through the SIS. This feature will be marketed to employers in Spring 2003.
To register on the FIS/SIS:
Send an email to John Stoeckmann at johnst@sba.pdx.edu in the office of Career Services. Please provide your name, degree program and SS/ID#.
You will be issued a username and password and provided with information on how to logon and register.
