Gary W. Takahashi, M.D. completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii. He completed his internship and residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, then finished his fellowship training at the University of Washington Medical Center/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Takahashi has an interest in informatics and when not working, enjoys hunting for wild mushrooms with his family.
