Ravindra R. Patil, M.D., Ph.D. received his medical degree from the University of Bombay, India. He immigrated to the United States and earned a doctorate in pharmacology from the University of Rochester, New York in 1994. Subsequently, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in 1998. Dr. Patil is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Dr. Patil joined Oregon Hematology Oncology Associates, P.C. on February 1, 2001. His special interests include the treatment of breast cancer and gastrointestinal malignancies, genetic testing and counseling of patients from families at high risk for breast and colon cancer. Dr. Patil’s other interests include astronomy and mathematics.
