Removing the Stand and monitoring the patient

  • Once hemostasis is achieved, compression can be completely released.
  • The StrongArm should be raised, and if available, the lower Arm Lock tightened to keep the Arm from dropping.
  • The Top Lever should be released and the Shaft rotated so that the Arm is located away from the patient.
  • The entire Stand should be removed from the bed by removing the Base from underneath the mattress.
  • Patient should continue to be monitored as per institutional procedure
  • The used CompressAR® 3-Finger Jack Disc should be removed and disposed of using institutional blood-borne pathogen precautions. The CompressAR Stand should be cleaned after each use.
