"Reminders"

• Do not leave the patient unattended while applying the CompressAR®.
• Do not use Betadyne, peroxide, alcohol or other solutions on the Discs prior to or during use; the Discs are pre-sterilized and provided in factory-sealed sterile packages.
• To avoid patient discomfort, firm pressure should be applied in a single, smooth downward motion. Abrupt pressure application may cause discomfort and alarm the patient.
• Discs should not be re-used -- re-processing procedures may not be thorough enough to properly clean and sterilize the Disc for human use, and will weaken the Disc. Use of any but an unused CompressAR Disc from a sterile, factory-sealed package voids all warranties.
• Do not suddenly release compression by a large amount, since the sudden increased blood flow can potentially disturb the clot.
• The Shaft should not be forced to rotate when the Top Lever is locked -- this can weaken the locking mechanism.
