Oregon State University Richardson Hall
Richardson Hall (also known as the Forest Ecosystem Research Laboratory) houses the department of wood science and engineering and the department of forest science. Its U-shaped configuration forms a forestry research complex with adjacent College of Forestry facilities and the USDA's Forestry Sciences Laboratory. Modern labs, product testing areas and a BSL-3 greenhouse enable the university to conduct leading research in forest ecology, climate change, sustainable forestry and product development. The facility also includes classrooms, lecture halls, a long-distance learning lab, conference rooms and faculty office space.
