James Owen Joins Fiori
PORTLAND, Ore. —
February 4, 2002 —
James Owen brings his strong design management skills to Fiori as a new senior designer. Owen will lead design teams on behalf of clients including HP and Medtronic. Prior to joining Fiori, Owen spent two years at Ziba Design where he guided design projects for such clients as FedEx, Starbucks, Colgate, Thompson Consumer Electronics and Whirlpool. Previously he was a senior designer with Sharp Electronics where he managed product development from concept to production. He started his career as a designer with Design Fusion, a Texas-based consulting firm, where he specialized in the design of medical products. His work has earned both IDSA/Business Week Gold and a CES Innovation Award. Owen holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in industrial design from Kendall College of Art and Design.
